FAQ

What condition are your used lockers in?

This is by far the question we are asked the most--and understandably so, as this is most likely your biggest concern when considering purchasing something used. The solution to this legitimate worry is what really separates us from everyone else. We are the only source for used lockers that incorporates a full-scale operation where we meticulously inspect every component of each locker that comes through our warehouse. After the inspection, we repair, replace or adjust all needed parts in order to restore every locker back to its original optimal level of functionality. Due to our thorough refurbishing process, we guarantee that your lockers will function smoothly and flawlessly upon arrival--and for many years to come.

How can I get a quote for lockers?

You can call one of our knowledgeable sales associates to receive a quote over the phone at 1-877-952-0151, or send us an email request at quotes@jorgensonlockers.com. We will make sure to get back to you as soon as possible and start the process of securing some of our amazing used lockers for you.

Where do you get so many used lockers from?

To say we are locker fanatics is no exaggeration. We've been involved in the locker industry for so long and have sold so many lockers in the past that we have ended up acquiring enough used, surplus or overstock ones to fill our warehouse to the rafters...and then some! Doing business with so many different companies and facilities over the years has allowed us to attain a massive inventory. Although we receive lockers from many different places, the majority seem to end up coming from schools and businesses that are either upgrading their lockers or moving to larger facilities. We also sell our own line of Jorgenson Lockers that add to our impressive supply.

What type of locks do used lockers accept?

Most of our used lockers accept multiple lock types--built-in combination locks, built-in key locks, coin-operated locks, combination padlocks, digital locks and keyed padlocks. There are some that were originally manufactured to only accept one type of lock, typically either a built-in style or padlock. Don't worry, we won't leave you guessing--when a locker is only able to use one type or lock, we make sure to clearly indicate it on the specific locker listing.

Do you give credit for used lockers towards a new locker purchase?

In most cases, yes. If you need new lockers and have existing lockers to sell, we can help remove your old lockers and install the new ones. Before we'll be able to provide credit or make you an offer, we'll need to know the size of the lockers (width, depth and height), the quantity, where the lockers are coming from and when they'll be available for removal. We would also like to see pictures of the interior and exterior of the lockers. Once we receive the used lockers, we can credit the amount towards your new locker purchase. This is a great option to cut your overall costs.

Will you buy my old used lockers?

Of course! We are always looking to expand our inventory to better serve our customers. If you have used lockers you need to get rid of, please give us a call. Be prepared to provide us with pictures of the inside and outside of the lockers, as well as their size (width, depth and height), quantity, where they are located/will be shipped from, when they'll be available for removal and if you'll need help removing and loading the lockers.

How do I know if the used lockers I purchase from you will work?

Most of our used lockers accept multiple lock types--built-in combination locks, built-in key locks, coin-operated locks, combination padlocks, digital locks and keyed padlocks. There are some that were originally manufactured to only accept one type of lock, typically either a built-in style or padlock. Don't worry, we won't leave you guessing--when a locker is only able to use one type or lock, we make sure to clearly indicate it on the specific locker listing.

Do I need to put the lockers I buy together?

Not unless you really want to! Just kidding--nope, you don't even have to worry about it. Our used lockers arrive fully assembled at no additional charge and are ready to be put to immediate use--saving you time, labor, costs and frustration. Just another perk that comes from buying our quality used lockers.

Can you install the lockers for me?

Depending on the job size and location, we may be able to install the lockers. We have experienced installers located across the country, so it is fairly easy to accommodate all of our customers. If for some reason we aren't able to install them for you, we would be happy to give you instructions regarding the best installation method for your individual situation.

Can I get a quote for new lockers?

Most definitely! Although our company name might lead you to believe otherwise, we do in fact have both used and new lockers available. We sell our very own line of brand new Jorgenson Lockers that give you an even more flexible, wider selection of locker products to choose from. Our sales associates are ready to help you determine what type and style of locker will work the best for you. Either call us at 1-877-952-0151 or send us an email at quotes@jorgensonlockers.com and we'll make it our priority to get back to you as soon as we can. (And if after all of that, you still haven't found the lockers you're looking for, check out our sister site www.SchoolLockers.com. Between the two of us, you're bound to find just what you need!)

I don’t know what I need! Can you help me?

With a selection as large as ours is (literally a 90,000-square-foot warehouse bursting at the seams with every type of locker you can think of), it's easy to get confused and overwhelmed about what would be the best option for you. But have no fear--we're here to help! We've been in the locker industry for nearly five decades, so we know our stuff. All of our sales associates have been extensively trained to understand everything there is to know about lockers. We will give you the time and attention you need to answer any questions you may have and make sure all of your needs are met.

Why should I buy used lockers?

Purchasing used lockers is a great alternative when new lockers just aren't in your budget. Luckily, we take great care of our used lockers and they work just as good as new ones--providing you with all of the storage and security you need without breaking the bank. Our quality standards are very strict, and we won't sell anything that doesn't meet them. By purchasing used lockers from us, you'll be getting the biggest bang for your buck...high quality, fully functional, long-lasting lockers at bargain prices. Still looking for more reasons? Do you ship internationally?

Yep, we are able to ship our used lockers to both Canada and Mexico--as long as we can reach your location using a freight truck, we can ship our used lockers to you. However, if your lockers will need to be shipped on a boat we recommend purchasing new lockers. They are able to be distributed unassembled and don't take up as much space, making the shipping costs much lower. Please contact one of our sales associates for further information.

Where are you located?

Our sales office is in Salt Lake City, Utah, but we have an extensive network of distribution centers throughout the United States and Canada to keep shipping costs down and help get your lockers to you faster. We also have a large network of local and national installation crews available to assist you if you need help installing your lockers once they arrive.

Who do you sell used lockers to?

If you can think of a facility that might have a need for lockers in some capacity, we have probably provided lockers for them. We have sold used lockers to schools, rec centers, professional sports teams, scout camps, gyms, offices, warehouses, fire stations, day cares and aquatic centers, just to name a few. And don't forget about residential buyers--putting lockers in your home office, mud room or garage is a fun and unique way to provide organization and storage in your house!
